Beat the spam

I am sure many of you would agree that one of the things you hate the most during your net surfing is that stupid registration form asking for your email id and later you need to check your mail to activate the account… And then within no time, your inbox is spammed with all junk…

After trying many ways to avoid this, I found two easy ways to avoid this hassle…

1) Use this service BugMeNot which enables users to share username/passwords for the sites they use… Not all passwords work but there is a firefox extension that automatically tries all the usernames to find which one works

2) Use a temporary email service. The one i use is DontReg. All you need to do is, whenever asked an email id, just fill something@dontreg.com.. You dont need to register on the site to use it.. To read the mail, go to the site and type in the same something you gave, to open the mailbox… The mails are stored for upto one day, so once you confirmed your username, you dont need to worry about the spam…
